Frozen Shoulder
Frozen shoulder aka Adhesive Capsulitis is a condition in which the capsule and connective tissue become inflamed and stiff. The inflammation may create adhesions which may greatly restrict the motion of the shoulder and cause pain. The exact cause of this condition remains unknown. Recovery from this condition may take months to even years. Active Release Techniques® (ART®) has been to shown to be very effective in treating Frozen Shoulder and greatly improving the rate of recovery.
