Sciatica
Sciatica is very painful condition in which the sciatic nerve becomes inflamed. The causes of the inflammation include disc herniation's, muscle spasms, joint fixations, ligaments damage, or tendon pressure. Sciatica usually responds very well to conservative care which include Active Release® Soft tissue therapy, Chiropractic adjustments, stretching, and icing. In extreme cases in which Conservative care has not provided sufficient relief then referral to a Medical Doctor to evaluate the possibility of disc damage may be needed. Our team at Summit Integrated Health Centre is fully qualified to diagnose and treat Sciatica and recommend alternatives if needed.
