Tension Headaches
A tension headache is a symptom that is present when there is a condition of the head and/or neck. Depending on other signs and symptoms that are associated with the headache, the pattern of the headache, and the location of the headache can determine the cause of the headache.
Structures in the neck can refer up to the head causing a headache. The joints of the neck can become restricted and/or the neck muscles become overly tight and restricted can cause the referral pattern of pain that can cause a tension headache. Active Release Techniques® (ART®)
