Dr. Stan Wong Chiropractor
Dr. Stan Wong was born and raised in Calgary. He attended the University of Calgary and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1994. His major field of study was in the area of Biochemistry. He entered his studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California and graduated in 1997 with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Dr. Stan Wong started his Active Release Techniques® training immediately following his graduation from Chiropractic College and is an Accredited Active Release Full Body provider.
After a brief period of providing locum care in Calgary and areas around Alberta, Dr. Stan Wong started his career in 1999 at Shephard Health. Along with Dr. Helena Horsky, they were part of a clinic dedicated in using Active Release Techniques and Chiropractic in treating Soft tissue injuries. In 2003, Dr. Stan Wong and Dr. Helena Horsky started Summit Integrated Health Centre adhering to the original mission statement of using Active Release Techniques® as the treatment of choice for treating all Soft tissue injuries. In 2011, Dr. Wong was introduced to Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization. Since then he has been determined to incorporate this amazing rehabilitation method to his practice. He has added Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) to his list of certifications and is DNS B Certified. He believes this is the rehabilitation protocol of choice and is excited to start to introduce this revolutionary rehabilition method to his patients.
In his spare time Stan likes to ski, golf, and play tennis.
